I remember when I saw my first picture of Guilin, it was on the Apple Tv display pictures and I remember saying that one day I’d visit that beautiful place. Now, few years later I’m extremely pleased to tell you that Guilin is everything you expected from it and more.
Since you arrive at the airport you can see hundreds of green tall mountains that paint a picture just like in the Avatar movie. To say that these views are beautiful is an understatement. There’s no way you can get used to this gorgeous view! There are crossing rivers and cows making the view even more lovely.
There’s plenty of activities to do in Guilin, the typical ones are renting a boat around the Li River and seeing the mountains up close, visiting the Silver Cave, and maybe even seeing the sunset in between the mountains. I personally recommend taking one different experience while you’re here such as: taking a bike tour or a motorcycle tour through the mountains, there’s also a helicopter tour or even a hot air balloon in the mountains!
We did the helicopter ride and your perspective of Guilin definitely changes once you’re there! You can see the rivers, caves and spectacular mountains all from above! There are many activities and they’re all of different price ranges, but I can promise you there’s one just for you.
Sometimes it’s hard to find destinations that are not to hasty and that transmit peace and serenity wherever you go; but to us Guilin was the perfect natural and relaxing destination we needed.
Recuerdo haber visto una foto de Guilin cuando era más chica, estaba en el Apple Tv de mi casa y mi mamá me dijo que para ella sería algo mágico poder visitar ese lugar que parecía fuera de este mundo! Ahora unos años después estoy muy satisfecha ya que llegué a este lugar y les puedo decir que Guilin fué todo lo que esperaba y más.
Desde que llegas al aeropuerto puedes ver cientos de montañas verdes que pintan una escena como la de la película de Avatar, mágica y misteriosa. Decir que este lugar es bonito no es darle ni poquita justicia! No hay forma de que te puedas acostumbrar a esta vista! Hay ríos cruzando entre las montañas, pescadores y vacas, haciendo que la vista sea todavía más mágico.
Hay cientos de formas de poder disfrutar este paraíso natural, la actividad típica entre turistas es tomar un bote pequeño en el río Li y ver las montañas desde abajo! (Es típico pero vale la pena), ir a ver la Cueva Plateada, e incluso ver el atardecer en el río o entre las montañas. Pero en lo personal les recomiendo buscar actividades diferentes para poder disfrutar de este paraíso al máximo! Pueden tomar un tour de bicis o de motocicletas entre las montañas, también hay tour en Helicóptero o en Globo Aerostático para ver todo de otra perspectiva!
Nosotros tuvimos la fortuna de tomar el Tour de Helicóptero y la vista estuvo para morirse! Puedes ver las montañas y los ríos desde arriba y te das cuenta de la inmensidad de todo! Hay todo tipo de actividades y los precios pueden variar; Pero te prometo que hay una especial para tí!
A veces puede ser difícil encontrar destinos que realmente valgan la pena, que te ayuden a descansar y que no te aturden ni te saturen! Es por esto que Guilin me encantó, te llena de paz y de tranquilidad y hace que sea un destino que todos puedan disfrutar!
